Personal Styling begins with you.
An experienced eye. An entirely personal point of view.
The Lookbook offers inspiration.
The Atelier introduces discovery.
The Exchange makes room for rediscovery.
Personal Styling begins with you.
Your life. Your plans. The clothes you love — and the ones you can never quite make work.
The Archivist Styles brings thirty years of experience across fashion and the creative industries to the most personal part of getting dressed: finding what feels like yours.
A WARDROBE FULL OF POSSIBILITIES
There is usually a reason you keep reaching for the same jacket.
The shoulder sits properly. The proportions feel right. You know what to wear with it, and you feel comfortable the moment it goes on.
Then there are the other pieces.
The beautiful dress still waiting for an occasion. The trousers that almost work. The purchase you loved in the shop and haven’t quite understood since.
Personal styling gives those decisions time and attention.
Together, we look at what you enjoy wearing, what your life asks of your wardrobe and where a little guidance could make a difference.
Sometimes the answer is something new.
Sometimes it has been hanging in front of you all along.
“Before we go shopping, let’s see what you’ve been overlooking.”
— Amelia
IT STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION
You don’t need a finished brief or a folder full of references.
You might have a particular occasion in mind. A change in your working life. A wardrobe that hasn’t quite caught up with you.
Or simply the feeling that getting dressed could be more enjoyable.
We begin by listening.
What do you love? What feels comfortable? What do you want your clothes to do for you?
Your preferences, budget and practical needs shape the direction. From there, we can explore familiar favourites, consider something unexpected and decide what kind of support would be useful.
THE STYLING MENU
STYLE CONSULTATION A little clarity goes a long way.
A focused conversation about your style, your wardrobe and the way you live.
We explore the shapes, fabrics and details you’re drawn to, alongside the moments when getting dressed feels less straightforward. You leave with a clearer direction and a short written summary to return to.
THE FOREVER WARDROBE Take another look at what you already own.
An at-home review of your clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, with time to explore fit, proportion and fresh combinations.
We identify pieces with potential, consider useful additions and create a private working reference for your stylist from selected items. The Extended service allows more time for a larger wardrobe.
Nothing has to go. The first task is to understand what is there.
PERSONAL SHOPPING & SOURCING Know what you’re looking for. Discover what you hadn’t considered.
From a particular piece to a series of complete looks, we build a brief around your style, needs and budget.
Moodboards and sketch ideas help establish the direction. Sourcing, shopping support and fittings bring it into focus, considering clothing, shoes, bags and accessories together.
The pleasure is in finding pieces you can imagine wearing — and knowing how you’ll wear them.
PERSONAL EVENT STYLING The invitation is yours. So is the look.
One complete look for an occasion that matters to you.
We consider the setting, dress code and how you want to feel, bringing the outfit and its finishing details together through a proposal and fitting.
Separate on-the-day dressing support can be arranged when you would like help getting ready.
BRIDAL STYLING Every celebration. Unmistakably you.
A personal approach to the outfits you’ll wear across your wedding celebrations.
We explore your ideas, source pieces and consider each look in relation to the setting, the moment and the person wearing it. From the first celebration to the ceremony and evening, your proposal is shaped around the support you need.
Fittings and on-the-day dressing are individually arranged where requested.
HOLIDAY WARDROBE STYLING Look forward to getting dressed there.
A wardrobe planned around your destination, itinerary and the way you like to travel.
We begin with pieces you already own, identify what is missing and bring together versatile outfits for the days and evenings ahead.
Thoughtful combinations, useful layers and the right accessories help favourite pieces earn their place in your suitcase.
CELEBRITY & PERFORMANCE STYLING Attention to the look. Awareness of the moment.
Discreet styling and dressing support for shoots, performances, award shows and appearances.
We consider how the outfit reads in person and on camera, how it moves and what you need to do while wearing it. Calm, attentive support keeps the details in hand throughout the booked day.
Preparation and sourcing are arranged separately through Personal Shopping & Sourcing.
THE WHOLE LOOK, CONSIDERED
A hemline changes with a shoe.
A jacket changes with a sleeve pushed back. A familiar dress takes on a different character with the right earrings.
These are the decisions we enjoy: proportion, texture, movement and the relationship between pieces.
We look closely at how clothes sit, how they feel and how they work together. There is space to try, compare and discover what makes the difference for you.
“Try it with the other shoe. You’ll see what I mean.”
— Amelia
YOUR WARDROBE, CONNECTED
Personal styling brings the different parts of The Archivist Styles into your own life.
A Lookbook idea might suggest a new combination. An Atelier discovery might answer a particular gap. A wardrobe review might reveal an unworn piece suitable for consideration by the Forever Piece Exchange.
Each has its place.
You can discover something new, rediscover something familiar or decide that a piece is ready for its next wardrobe.
Resale advice is included in The Forever Wardrobe services. Managing a sale is a separate service, and every Exchange submission is reviewed before acceptance.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
TELL US WHAT YOU HAVE IN MIND
Share the occasion, wardrobe question or change you’re considering. Include any relevant dates and the kind of support you think you might need.
It is perfectly fine to be unsure where to begin.
AGREE THE DIRECTION
We help identify the appropriate service and clarify its scope, timing and fee. Your budget and preferences remain part of the conversation.
EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES
Depending on your booking, we work through consultation, wardrobe review, visual ideas, sourcing or fittings.
You have room to respond, try things and shape the choices.
BRING IT TOGETHER
We refine the combinations and details within your agreed service, so you understand the look and feel comfortable wearing it.
A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS
Do I need to know my style already?
No. You can arrive with a clear direction or with questions. Understanding what you like — and why — is part of the process.
Will I need to buy a new wardrobe?
No. We can begin with what you own and explore how it works. Any new purchases are considered against your needs and budget.
Do I have to remove clothes during a wardrobe review?
No. Nothing needs to be removed. We can discuss pieces you no longer wear, but the decision remains yours.
Are clothing purchases included in the styling fee?
Clothing purchases are separate. Travel, garment hire and any additional time or support are clarified for the relevant booking. The Styling Menu sets out each service’s scope and fees.
Is the private wardrobe reference a digital wardrobe I can log into?
The current service creates a private working reference for your stylist from selected pieces. It supports future styling; it is not a client-facing digital wardrobe account.
Can I book help for one occasion?
Yes. Personal Event Styling focuses on one complete look. Bridal, holiday and performance services offer support for their respective occasions.
I’m not sure which service I need.
Tell us what you have in mind. We can help you find the right starting point.
SOMETHING THAT FEELS LIKE YOU
A familiar piece worn differently.
A new favourite you wouldn’t have found alone.
The quiet pleasure of knowing what works.
